Congratulations on receiving your Inspection Authorization!

I hope my insights and experiences resonate with you and assist you on your aviation journey. With a robust background in aviation, I've worked at every level of the industry. My career began in the military and US Coast Guard, where I honed my skills on Convair 131s and Falcon 20s, including radials. Transitioning to production at McDonnell Douglas, I started in the wire crib, eventually becoming a foreman on the F-15 line after nine and a half years. My journey continued with Trans States Airlines as a flight line mechanic, working with JetStream 32, ATR 42, and 72 aircraft. I then expanded my expertise at major airlines like TWA and American Airlines, focusing on DC 9s and MD 80s, before moving into freight airlines, where I became a factory representative for CAV Aerospace while installing TKS systems. After that, I co-founded and managed an FBO, and later, I acquired partial ownership of a 145 avionics repair station with a full-service department. Over the past 20 years, I've performed an average of 25 to 30 annual inspections each year, ranging from working solo in T hangars to leading multi-layered teams.
